How can you respect
clients' autonomy while dealing with family, institutional, community, professional and personal values and pressures: This home study program is a printed transcription of an actual on-site seminar. The dialogue between the presenter and the participants is interesting, informative and pertinent to the subject matter. The presenter discusses and gives case examples that illustrate ethical concepts that are relevant to working with the elderly and describes an ethical decision-making model that social workers can use in their clinical practice. Applying these concepts to cases presented throughout the program, both the presenter
and participants analyzed how decisions are made, who makes these decisions,
the consequences of the decisions on clients and explored strategies
